The new single from Tiiva is the trippy electronic cut ‘Someone Else’. You can feel the influence of the likes of Kate Bush and FKA twigs from the swirling, kaleidoscopic opening moments. Tiiva’s voice is isolated against futuristic synths that gradually develop as the track finally explodes into a world of hooks and grooves. Tiiva explains that the track “is about the continuation of change, discovery of identity and reconciling with yourself when things feel too much.” This is a message that comes through perfectly in each word of their poetic lyrics.
